0900hrs : Longshanshi temple 龙山峙
MRT Ximen station (西门站) to Longshan Temple (龙山峙站) (about 10mins, cost NTD$20)
Longshan Temple is located in the district Manka of Taipei. It was founded in 1738 and dedicated to the Buddhist Goddess of Mercy (Kuan-in in Chinese 观音)

MRT Longshanshi (龙山峙站) to C.K.S memorial hall station (中正纪念堂站) (about 10mins, cost NTD$20)
The National Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (國立中正紀念堂) is a monument erected in memory of Chiang Kai-shek, former President of the Republic of China in Taipei, Taiwan. A new name for the structure, National Taiwan Democracy Memorial Hall (国立台湾民主纪念馆), was unilaterally announced by President Chen Shui-bian on 19 May 2007.

1300hrs: Maokong Gondola 猫空缆车
MRT to Taipei Zoo Station (动物园站), exit MRT station turn left, walk about 5mins
There are two places of tea production in Taipei City that are famous for their history in tea plantation. One is Maokong, Muzha and the other is Jiuzhuang, Nangang. The teas grown there are mainly Tieguanyin Tea and Baozhong Tea. Tea plantation and manufacturing have already become the focus of life of local residents.
Maokong, Muzha is at
an altitude of 300 meters with area size of 70
hectares.Tieguanyin is the major tea plant. The
tea plantations were transformed into tea park
in 1980. Maokong area has become the best to
drink tea and watch night scenes.
We didn't do enough research before coming... Maokong Gondola (猫空缆车) CLOSED ON MONDAY!!!
Their operating hours: Tue - Fri 0900 - 2200hrs, weekends and public holidays 0830 - 2200hrs
