Take a look what we plan for our Cambodia trip

After almost a month of research and gathering the information, what must not missed in Siem Reap, what to do, where to stay, local tour guide, driver and etc... Here is what we had found for our next trip.

Flight - Silk Air
Accommodation - The Villa Siem Reap (guest house)
Local temple guide - Samreth (former teacher, recommended by traveller who hired him before)
Time - One hour behind Singapore (time zone + 7 hours)

Itinerary

Day 1 Afternoon
Changi International Airport to Siem Reap International Airport. (Free airport transfer by The villa.)
Evening
Exploring Siem Reap town (Old Market)
Night
Nightlife of Siem Reap at ˇ§Pub Streetˇ¨. Two best and noisiest nightlife places on this street are The Angkor What? (the area's nightlife pioneer) and The Temple Club, a full-on dance affair ˇV the Temple Club is complemented by the Temple Bar a few doors down. Others pubs nearby Easy Speaking Café and Pub, Buddha Lounge, Linga Bar, Red Piano Bar, Ivy Bar and etc.
Day 2
8am-6pm
Visit Kampong Phluk village (floating village) + boat ride and Beng Mealea (the Jungle temple).
Day 3
630am-5pm
visit the Roluos group {Preah Ko (879AD), Bakong (881) and Lolei (893)}, Pre Rup (961), East Mebon (952), Banteay Srei (967) and Banteay Samre (967)
or
Taprohm + Prasat Kravan
Day 4
5am-5pm
Sunrise at Angkor Wat, visit Angkor Thom (Bayon, the Elephant Terrace, the Royal Enclosure). If time permitted, may include the places like Preah Khan, Takeo, Chau Say Tevoda, Thammanon for today.
Day 5 Morning - old Market and ATV ride
Afternoon - home sweet home

Information

  • Temple passes

    • 1 day pass = USD20

    • 3 day pass = USD40

    • 1 week pass = USD60

  • Departure airport tax - Adult USD25/Children USD13 for international flight (foreign passport)

  • Camera fees on site - for professional camcorder/equipments only (TV media)

Power adaptor
The electrical standard in Cambodia is 220 volts at 50Hz. Electrical plugs of the two-rounded pin type are the most commonly required. You will need a suitable traveler power adaptor before your departure.

Entry VISA
Can be apply upon arrival. There are mainly two types of visas for travellers: the tourist visa (valid for 30 days, not renewable) and the business visa (valid for 30 days, but can be renewed multiple times). Visa Exemption for Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam passport holder. You will also need one passport photo to accompany your visa application.

E-VISA online application also available, fees USD25 per person.
